Plus, North America’s best skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb is only 35 minutes up the Sea-to-Sky highway. These two wonderful mountains hosted, among others, the downhill skiing events at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Together, they boast over 200 marked runs, 8,171 acres of terrain, 16 alpine bowls and three glaciers, appropriate for all levels of proficiency.

Ziptrekking

You’ve seen pictures and movies of people zipping along tree-tops and exploring nature from above. Now, you can be one of them!

Tobogganing

Enjoy a day of old-fashioned tubing at the Sea to Sky Gondola’s new Tube Park! Located adjacent to the Gondolas Wonderland Lake Loop, the tube park offers sliding fun for all ages. There will be four lanes of varying sliding levels. It a fun activity for the family and a great way to spend a day in the snow!

The cost is $5.00 which includes tube rental and unlimited access within tube park hours. Slide down and walk up. Price does not include the Gondola Ticket.

Or drive up to Whistler, only 35 minutes away, to experience the Olympic Park tobogganing hill with your younger children. The hill has a long flat run out of approximately 100 metres in length and a separate path for the return journey. There’s no better place to play in the snow safely for young families. You can get rent your toboggans ad mandatory helmets at the Day Lodge.
